In Alex’s TedTalk he mentioned that he started really chasing his dreams after his idol, Steve Jobs, passed away. Now, I am not saying Alex is dead to me or that I bear him any ill will ( I do wish he hadn’t been such an idiot and that Carrie smacked him in the face for his idiocy but that is another story). What I mean is that he isn’t the Alex Day that I idolized. And yes, it may have been silly to look at a YouTuber half way across the world and call him my hero but we all have our dreams. Mine were just crushed by reality. I think this is my cue to start perusing MY dreams. To start taking action instead of being so passive. To reach for the stars and not settle for the moon.
